Change Happens: An Update on Q1 and Q2 Goals

As I reevaluate my goals for Q2, I reflect on Q1, and let me be honest, I could have done better.

However, I’m not beating myself up.

Taking the concepts of The Four Agreements: 1) Be impeccable with your word, 2) don’t take anything personally, 3) don’t make assumptions, and 4) always do your best, I know what happened and how to fix it.

When Q1 started, I had a plan. However, no matter how I went about it, nothing came of it.

However, Q1 allowed me to see where I can shift my focus

Am I giving up? Not at all,  but if other opportunities present themselves, why ignore them? That’s just silly.

So here’s what Q2 will bring:

Helping DIY Designers develop their visual brand strategy.

No matter where you are with your business journey, you need to have a strong brand presence to grow.

Maybe you don’t have the funds for an all brand package right now, but it doesn’t mean you can’t set the building blocks to grow and profit.

The Brand Base will do just that. Whether you’re beginning or middle of growing your brand, making sure you have the foundations set will help you guide the course of reaching your target audience.

More facetime.

I love elevating others into the spotlight, which is why I stay behind the scenes. However, if I’m going to take my own advice, which I rarely do, you gotta see me more.

Could that mean more Instagram live? A YouTube channel?

Yes and yes!

It’ll be a slow process but it’s happening.

Oh, I’ll also get new headshots because it’s been time.

What I’ve learned from Q1

Just because it doesn’t work the way you want doesn’t mean you’ve failed. As long as you do your best, you’ve done well. Now is the time to take a step back, see what’s working, see what’s not, and make the shift.

Change is part of growth. If you’re staying stagnant because you’re comfortable, you’ll never grow.

What’s going on with you for Q2? Let me know in the comments!
